Caption

Masked or lemon butterfly fish (Chaetodon semilarvatus). These fish have flattened bodies and small protruding mouths with which they pick at the small crustaceans, polyps, worms and algae they eat. Masked butterfly fish live in coral reefs. They are found in tropical seas, usually alone or in pairs. Photographed near Egypt, in the Red Sea.
