Potato cod (Epinephelus tukula) with a scuba diver. Despite its name this fish is actually a grouper. It is found near reefs in the Indo-Pacific, feeding on other fish, skate, crabs and lobsters. The potato cod is highly territorial, and will often attack intruders who stray into its patch of the reef. Adult individuals may reach a length of 2 metres. Photographed on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
