Piranha fish (Serrasalmus sp.). This fish inhabits rivers in South America, living in large shoals. It can reach a length of 60 centimetres. It uses its strong jaws and razor-sharp teeth to feed on other fish. Piranha shoals have been known to attack large mammals, including humans.
