Caption

Titan triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens). This is the largest of the triggerfish, and it reaches lengths of 75 centimetres. It is found in lagoons and seaward reefs in the Indo-Pacific, feeding on sea urchins, coral, crabs and molluscs. Female titan triggerfish have been known to attack divers when defending a nest. Also seen, are parts of a trevally (right) and a blacktip reef shark (left). Photographed off Moorea Island, French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean.
