Caption

Black grouper (Mycteroperca bonaci). This fish inhabits the shallow, warm waters around reefs in the western Atlantic and Caribbean Sea. It feeds on smaller fish and crustaceans. It can reach a length of 1.5 metres and weight up to 100 kilograms when fully grown. Photographed off Grand Bahama island, in The Bahamas, Caribbean Sea.
