White-spotted surgeonfish (Acantharus guttatus) swimming over a coral reef. These fish are found in the tropical regions of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. They are found on reefs down to six-metre depths. They browse on algae and reach a length of 26 centimetres. Photographed off Rangiroa Atoll, French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean.
