Spanish hogfish (Bodianus rufus). This wrasse inhabits the tropical waters of the western Atlantic Ocean, from the southern USA to Brazil, including the Caribbean Sea. It feeds on bottom- dwelling invertebrates such as sea urchins, starfish, crabs and shellfish. When young, it picks parasites from the skin of larger fish. It may reach a length of over 40 centimetres.
