Caption

Cowfish. Close-up of the head of a honeycomb cowfish (Lactophrys, or Acanthostracion, polygonia). Its eye is at top right, and one of its "horns" is at top centre. This fish inhabits reefs in the tropical western Atlantic Ocean, including the Caribbean Sea. It feeds on shrimp, sponges and sea squirts, and may reach a length of up to 50 centimetres. Photographed off Bonaire Island, Netherland Antilles.
