Swallowtail seaperch (Anthias anthias) shoaling on a reef. Swallowtail seaperch grows to a length of around 27 centimetres. It is found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean and in the Mediterranean where it lives on rocky and coral reefs and on the continental shelf. At lower right are gorgonian corals or sea fans (pink/red). Photographed off the French island of Levant in the north-western Mediterranean.
