French grunt (Haemulon flavolineatum) shoal. This fish inhabits relatively deep reefs in the tropical western Atlantic Ocean, including the Caribbean Sea. It is often seen in huge shoals. It feeds mainly on small crustaceans such as shrimp, and is itself valued as a food fish. It may reach a length of up to 30 centimetres. Photographed in the Bahamas.
