Titan triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens) swimming on a coral reef. This is the largest of the triggerfish, growing up to 70 centimetres in length. It is found in tropical waters, associated with coral reefs. It feeds on sea urchins, corals, and crabs and other crustacea. It is covered with strong, rough scales that provide protection from predators. Triggerfish become very aggressive when guarding their nest, and have been known to bite divers. Photographed in St John's Reef, Red Sea, Egypt.
