Thorny seahorse (Hippocampus histrix) against algae. This fish inhabits coral reefs in the Indo- Pacific region. It feeds on tiny crustaceans, which it sucks in through its tubular mouth. It can reach a length of 12 centimetres. Photographed off Malaysia.
