Emperor angelfish (Pomacanthus imperator) swimming over a coral reef. This fish inhabits reefs throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific region, feeding on sponges and other sedentary animals. It can reach a length of around 40 centimetres. Due to its striking colouration it is a popular fish in the aquarium trade. Photographed in the Egyptian Red Sea.
