Juvenile Forster's hawkfish (Paracirrhites forsteri) resting on coral. This fish inhabits coral reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from the Red Sea to Micronesia. It is territorial and chases off rivals. It is predatory, feeding on smaller fish and shrimps, and can reach a length of around 22 centimetres. Photographed in the Egyptian Red Sea.
