Royal angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus) swimming over corals. This fish, also known as the regal angelfish, inhabits coral reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region. It feeds mainly on sponges and sea squirts, and can reach a length of up to 25 centimetres. Its vivid colouration has made it a popular fish in the aquarium trade, although it is difficult to keep. Photographed in Bunaken National Park, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
