Caption

Golden damselfish (Amblyglyphidodon aureus) on a coral reef. This fish inhabits reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from the eastern Indian Ocean to the Pacific islands. It prefers steep reef walls with strong currents, where it feeds on zooplankton. It can reach a length of around 13 centimetres. Its striking colour has made it a popular fish in the aquarium trade. Photographed in the Andaman Sea, Thailand.
