Juvenile golden damselfish (Amblyglyphidodon aureus) in front of a sea fan (Siphonogorgis sp.) This fish inhabits reefs in the tropical Indo- Pacific region, from the eastern Indian Ocean to the Pacific islands. It prefers steep reef walls with strong currents, where it feeds on zooplankton. It can reach a length of around 13 centimetres. Photographed in Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia.
