French angelfish (Pomacanthus paru). This fish inhabits shallow waters around reefs in the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and the western Atlantic regions. It feeds on corals and sponges, and is also known to take parasites from larger fish. It can grow to a length of over 40 centimetres. Photographed at Looe Key National Sanctuary, Florida, USA.
