Dwarf hawkfish (Cirrhitichthys falco) resting on a barrel sponge. This fish spends most of its time resting on the coral reef and darts out only to feed. It can reach up to 7 centimetres in length and is found in the Indo-Pacific from the Maldives to Samoa, the Ryukyu Islands, southern Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia.
