Caption

A female Blackspot Allotoca (Allotoca maculata). This Goodeid live-bearer was formerly fairly widespread in the swamps and marshes of Jalisco, Mexico, but is now possibly extinct in the wild and listed as critically endangered on the IUCN ''Red List''. Luckily, it is still being maintained by aquarium fish hobbyists.
