Rana palmipes. Mating male (smaller) and female frogs of the species Rana palmipes - the only true frog (family Raninae) native to the Amazon rainforest. True frogs are distinguished from their relatives by a bony sternum and tapering fingers without discs or pads. Photographed in Ecuador.
