Leopard frog (Rana pipiens) on a branch. This frog is found throughout North America, inhabiting a variety of habitats including grasslands and woodland. They must return to water to breed, however. The leopard frog feeds mainly on insects and other invertebrates, although it may take small fish and mammals. It can reach a length of around 13 centimetres.
