Caption

Imbabura tree frog (Hyla picturata). This frog is found alongside rivers in forests in the Pacific lowlands of southwestern Colombia and northwestern Ecuador. As its name implies it lives in trees and other vegetation. Each toe ends with a sucker that is used to grasp leaves and stems. It feeds on insects and other invertebrates. Photographed in the Bilsa Reserve, Mache-Chindul mountains, Ecuador.
