Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) on a coral reef. It is one of the smallest turtles, reaching 85 centimetres in length. Found in all tropical waters, it is almost completely aquatic. Only the female leaves the water to nest, returning to the beach where she was born. It is omnivorous, but feeds mainly on aquatic grasses and plants. Photographed off Sipadan, Malaysia.
