Loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) feeding at an oil rig. This endangered sea turtle feeds mainly on sponges, crustaceans, and molluscs, but may also eat algae. A Spanish hogfish (Bodianus rufus, upper left) is waiting by the turtle's mouth to scavenge scraps of food. Photographed at High Island 179 oil rig, in the Gulf of Mexico.
