Green anole (Anolis carolinensis) on a branch. This lizard is found in woods and bushy areas in the south-eastern USA. It can change its colour depending on temperature, mood, surroundings or as a means of communication. The green anole hunts small insects and spiders during the day. It can reach up to 20 centimetres in length.
