Baboons (Papio sp.). Mother baboon carrying her young. Females usually give birth to a single infant every other year and are the primary carer of their young. However, duties will be shared with other females for all offspring, as baboons are often found in large hierarchal troops of over 250 individuals. Photographed in the Samburu reserve, Kenya.
