Bottlenose dolphin. Head of an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) peering above the water's surface. They live in temperate and tropical waters, typically in groups of 10 to 15 individuals, although much larger groups have been seen. Bottlenose dolphins are known to frolic around ships and seem to enjoy human company in the water, showing no fear. They mainly eat fish, which they catch during agile chases.
