Atlantic spotted dolphins. Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) swimming above the seabed. When they are born these dolphins lack spots, only obtaining them as they grow older. The Atlantic spotted dolphin is found in tropical to warm temperate waters of the Atlantic Ocean, where they eat squid and fish. They are a highly vocal species and active jumpers.
