Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus). This dolphin lives in all seas with the exception of the polar oceans and inland seas. It lives in groups of around 10 to 15 individuals, but much larger groups have been recorded. The bottlenose dolphin commonly frolics around ships and seems to enjoy human company in the water, showing no fear. Its main prey is fish, which it catches during agile underwater chases. Photographed off the coast of France in the Mediterranean Sea.
