Brown bear (Ursus arctos) mother and cub walking through coastal water. The female brown bear gives birth to 1-4 cubs every other year. The cub will remain with the mother until it reaches at least two years of age. Photographed in the Katmai National Park and Preserve, in Alaska, USA.
