Caption

Grey wolves (Canis lupus) running through snow. These social animals live in packs of five to 15 individuals. The pack is ruled by a dominant pair, and a strict social hierarchy exists throughout. Grey wolves hunt cooperatively, catching bison, deer, elk and mountain sheep. They are found in the northern parts of the world, and also in the more southern parts of Asia. Photographed in Montana, USA.
