Seal swimming in the sea. Seals are marine mammals that hunt for their food of fish, squid and also crustaceans. A seal has a streamlined body with a thick layer of blubber for insulation. Their front and hind limbs have evolved into flippers that are used to swim with. Seals are commonly found in the Arctic and Antarctic seas, but are also found in other areas of the world.
