Male grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) on a sandy beach. The grey seal is found in coastal waters in temperate and sub-arctic waters on both sides of the North Atlantic. It feeds almost exclusively on fish. Males can reach over 2 metres in length. Photographed in December in Donna Nook, Humber estuary, Lincolnshire, UK.
