Black rhinoceroses (Diceros bicornis). The black rhino is found in open woodland in southern Africa. It is largely a solitary animal, feeding on vegetation. It can reach a height of over 1.5 metres and can weigh up to 1400kg. The black rhinoceros is a critically endangered species.
