Springbuck (Antidorcas marsupialis). This gregarious, gazelle-like antelope inhabits the open dry plains of southern Africa, feeding on grass, leaves and shoots. It is the national and sporting emblem of South Africa, where it is known as the springbok. Photographed at the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, in South Africa and Botswana.
