Springbuck (Antidorcas marsupialis) feeding on an acacia shrub. This gregarious, gazelle-like antelope inhabits the open dry plains of southern Africa, feeding on grass, leaves and shoots. Both male and female springbucks have horns. It is the national and sporting emblem of South Africa, where it is known as the springbok. Photographed in Etosha, Namibia.
