Muskox herd (Ovibos moschatus) walking through snow. Muskox is an artic mammal noted for its long thick coat. It moves around in herds inhabiting wet areas such as river valleys in summer and more mountainous areas in winter. Both males and females have horns and they graze on grasses, reeds, sedges and other ground plants. Photograhed in Harjedalen, Sweden, in winter.
