Caption

Bean ores. Bean ore is a colloquial term for metal ores shaped in the form of smoothly rounded peas or lenses, the size of coins. They are aggregates formed by concretion in sedimentary deposits and, due to their relative hardness, are often washed out of the hosting sediment and found as solitary units or amassed in groups.
