Limburgite. Limburgite is a dark coloured igneous volcanic rock resembling basalt in appearance, but normally not containing feldspar. It consists essentially of olivine, augite and limonite (hyalosiderite). The white cavities are lined with zeolites, calcite and opal (hyalite).
