Caption

Expedition 3 flight engineer Mikhail Tyurin has his hair cut by Vladimir Dezhurov in Zvesda Module. Vladimir uses the scissors whilst Mikhail holds the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner close to his head to suck up the loose hairs. Frank Culbertson films the action moving around the pair to catch the action. Vladimir uses a comb to manipulate Mikhail's hair before snipping it off. The end of the vacuum nozzle has a modified, home-made appearance with a cone of card and sticky tape to change its shape. In the close up shots at the end of the clip we can see individual tufts of hair which have been cut off flying off suddenly straight into the nozzle.
