Caption

Speeded up approach to the docking port of Skylab, and the moment of docking of mission SL-2. The targeting point and the American Stars and Stripes flag are straight ahead of the camera. Earlier view of part of Skylab showing a close approach to its side. Reaction control engines puff out their gases. We move along the craft a little and glimpse the edge of the Earth passing quickly beneath. Then the shot pulls back wider above Skylab with the Earth behind it and we move around towards the multiple docking adaptor ends and attempt to dock twice before both spacecraft pass across the terminator and into the night side of the Earth before the film runs out.
