Coverage of the launch of STS 125, or HST-SM4 (Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 4). Mid-wide shot of STS-125, Space Shuttle Atlantis on pad 39A just before lift off. Sound suppressant water system is armed as the count down begins T minus 10, 9, 8, 7. Close up of main engines as they ignite. Cut to wide side shot as the Shuttle jumps off the pad forcing exhaust gasses out from the sides of the flame trench. Super wide shot as it climbs into the Florida sky. Mid close up tracking shot as it goes through its roll programme. Brief onboard shot showing the underneath of the shuttle and the main fuel tank. Range of shots as the Shuttle passes through the area of maximum dynamic pressure. Cut to onboard camera for the instruction 'go with throttle up' as it approaches seven miles altitude. Telephoto shots through the haze of the fire coming out of the main engines. A further onboard view and then another telephoto shot as the shuttle approaches staging. We see the solid rocket boosters run out of fuel and jettison from onboard as they fall away at the end of the clip.
