High-speed footage of a crested kingfisher (Megaceryle lugubris) diving into water to catch a fish. This bird is also known as the greater pied kingfisher. It is large kingfisher, reaching up to 41 centimetres in length. It lives around rivers across much of eastern Asia, feeding mainly on fish, but also catching frogs and other small animals. Filmed in Japan.
