Orthoceras fossils . Fossilised remains of Orthoceras sp. nautiloids in their limestone host rock. These aquatic animals lived in Europe and North Africa from the middle Ordovician Period to the Devonian Period (around470-360 million years ago). They are related to squids and the octopus. Specimen from Morocco.
