Cobaltite crystals. Cobaltite is a sulphide of cobalt and arsenic most usually occurring in the form of isometric crystals with a silver gray to white metallic luster. Although rather rare it is still mined as an ore of cobalt, although most industrial cobalt now comes along as a by-product of nickel and copper mining. Specimens from Hakansboda in Sweden.
