Inner planetary orbits. Diagram of the four rocky planets of the inner solar system, orbiting the Sun (centre). From inner to outer, the planets are: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. The orbits include artworks of each planet, and arrow markings show the anti-clockwise direction of the orbits. The other four planets (not seen) are gas giants and are located in the outer solar system.
