Discovery preparations. Engineers installing a new set of thrusters in Discovery's forward fuselage nose area at an Orbiter Processing Facility, Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA. These preparations are for mission STS-114 (Return to Flight). This installation took place on 22 June 2004, and the launch took place on 26 July 2004. Discovery was part of NASA's Space Shuttle program. It flew 39 missions over a period of 26 years, being retired from service in March 2011.
