The ATV-2, an unmanned cargo resupply vehicle, has docked to the Zvezda module of the ISS. Below that is the Zarya module. The ISS has been under construction since 1998, and manned since 2000. It orbits the Earth at an altitude of several hundred kilometres. This photograph was taken on 26 February 2011, from the Space Shuttle Discovery as it approached to dock with the ISS during mission STS-133.
