Secondary liver cancer surgery. Surgeon removing part of a patient's liver through their belly button (umbilicus) during laparoscopic surgery for secondary liver cancer. The cancer has spread from a primary carcinoma of the colon. This is keyhole, or minimally invasive, surgery and is directed using a laparascope, a type of endoscope that is inserted through a small incision into the patient's abdomen.
